Substrack Terms of Service

By installing or using Substrack, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. What Substrack does

Substrack helps you list and remember subscription bills. It is a personal-finance helper, not a financial advisor, accountant, or payment processor. We do not move money on your behalf, cancel your subscriptions, or have any relationship with the merchants you track.

2. Your account

You may sign in with Google, Apple, or as a guest. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe and for any activity under your account. Anonymous (guest) accounts cannot be recovered if you uninstall the app or clear app data — link a Google account first if you want your data to persist.

3. Free features and ads

All app features are free. Free users see banner and interstitial ads served by Google Mobile Ads.

4. “Remove Ads” purchase

“Remove Ads” is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase that disables all ads on your device for the lifetime of the product. The purchase is processed through Google Play (Android) and is tied to the Google account that bought it; reinstall on a new device with the same Google account and tap “Restore purchase” to recover it. Refunds are governed by Google Play’s standard refund policy.

6. Gmail Scan

If you use Gmail Scan, you grant Substrack a one-time, read-only Gmail OAuth token solely to detect subscription emails. We do not store the full message content. You can revoke access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

7. Service availability

Substrack is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, accurate auto-detection, or that reminders will be delivered on time. Always verify your bills through your bank or merchant directly.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Substrack and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app, including missed renewals, mis-categorized expenses, or inaccurate data extracted from emails.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

10. Changes

We may update these terms; if so, we will update the “Last updated” date and surface the change in-app on your next launch. Continued use after the change means you accept the new terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the operator’s jurisdiction. Disputes will be resolved in the operator’s home courts unless local consumer-protection law requires otherwise.
